From 1967 to today - a continuous legacy of science education and academic excellence.
1967 - Foundation
Founded as Government Superior Science College Multan, one of five divisional science colleges to advance quality science education.
1970 - Labs & Early Programs
Equipped labs; launched B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, and English (affiliated with Punjab University Lahore).
1973 - Renamed & Growth
Renamed Government College of Science Multan; started Intermediate (Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science) and B.Sc. (2-Year) programs.
2000-2002 - Computer Science
Introduced Computer Science at Degree and Intermediate levels; Advanced Computer Science added at B.Sc.
2005 - M.Sc. Programs
Launched M.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Chemistry; upgraded laboratories with modern instrumentation.
2014-2015 - BS Expansion
HED Punjab NOC for BS 4-year programs (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, English); regular classes began in 2015.
2021 - GGCS Multan
Renamed Govt. Graduate College of Science Multan; new BS Block delivered with modern computer labs, lecture theatres, conference room, and classrooms.
2022 onward - BS Expansion
BS disciplines (Morning & Evening) affiliated with BZU, growing strength in sciences, languages, and social sciences.
Legacy of Excellence
Consistent top positions in BISE Multan and BZU Multan, with strong academics and co-curricular achievements.
